Founded in 1802 by the DALLOYAU family, who worked as waiters at the Palace of Versailles. The “Tortue” cake is inspired by the image of a sea turtle swimming in the summer sea. Tortue means turtle in French. I bought this cake from a temporary store in Shibuya. The permanent store is in Jiyugaoka.
