Yatsudoki is a store operated by Chateraise. The name “Yatsudoki” is derived from “Yatsugatake,” a mountain range in Nagano and Yamanashi prefectures, and “Yatsukimoku,” which in the old calendar indicated the time for a snack. This shortcake is made with melons from Ibaraki Prefecture.
