This is a Domyoji Sakura Mochi from Seigetsudo, a long-established Japanese confectionery store that has been in business in Ginza since 1907. Mainly in the Kansai region, this “Domyoji Sakura Mochi” is the mainstream. The sakura mochi is wrapped in soft cherry leaves and can be eaten as is.
