Toraya’s Chimaki with Lemon

This is a chimaki with lemon, which will be available at Toraya Akasaka store only on July 16, 2023. Toraya is a Japanese sweets store with a history of five centuries, originating in Kyoto. It is a store seller only and occasionally sells limited products like this one.

Wagashi with lemon is wrapped in a bamboo grass leaf. It is said that bamboo leaves drive away evil. It is a confectionery of good luck.
