The Palace Hotel in Marunouchi, Tokyo, was formerly a state-owned hotel that opened in 1947. In addition to the Marunouchi hotel, the Palace Hotel has a permanent sweets store inside the Isetan Shinjuku store. The “Tarte au Banane” is a Shinjuku store original.
